Material: PVC – for soft materials like buoys - powder
HDPE – for hard plastic products - powder
Process Steps
Plastic Powder is given into one of the parts of the tool
Two parts of tool are fit together
Tool is heated and rotated in both directions
Plastic powder melts and sticks to the inner walls of the tool
Tool is cooled down
The two parts are taken apart
Plastic product is extracted

Used for creating hollow plastic items:
Product is always going to have split lines, due to the fact that two parts of the product are needed:
To include text in the mould, a printed sticker is put on the tool before the moulding. The ink is then part of the moulding:
